Successful Gulfood 2020!

We’re happy to share with you some of the best moments enjoyed at Gulfood Dubai 2020.

Proud that Caffè Monforte coffee blends gathered the interest of many new possible business partners, we’ve been really glad to welcome Amedeo Scarpa, Italian Trade Commissioner to the UAE and Director of ITA Dubai Office, and Nicola Lener, the UAE Italian Ambassador, and his wife at our stand.

The two Italian representatives in the UAE confirmed that the number of conscious consumers, looking for quality-certified products, such as the Italian ones, have increased in the UAE. In fact, Made in Italy products are ever more demanded by the UAE market, where, already in 2019, the import records highlight a significant rise in the Italian F&B imported products.

Moreover, we’ve proudly contributed to the ITAlian Food Lab organized b y ITA – Italian Trade Agency – at Gufood 2020, where popular UAE based Italian Chefs specialized in Italian cuisine, “demonstrated how to cook delicious Italian dishes with sustainable ingredients using traditional recipes, to provide a wholesome meal in line with the principles of Mediterranean diet“.

Finally, we’d like to thank Chef Salvo Sardo for a new coffee tasting experience: he used Caffè Monforte coffee to prepare his signature dish at the ITA Food Lab “Conchiglioni with eggplant, Buffalo mozzarella, coffee foam and truffle flakes”.
